Introduction
GDP Test Preparation Guide (the “App”) is an educational mobile application
designed to help General Duty Pilot (GDP) applicants practice for the
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) initial tests. It provides verbal and non‑verbal
intelligence questions, academic subject quizzes, guidance on physical and
medical fitness, essay topics and ISSB preparation tips. The App is produced
and privately managed by Shaheen Forces Academy; it is not
an official application of the Pakistan Air Force or any government, defence or
corporate organisation, nor is it affiliated, endorsed or sponsored by
them. Its sole purpose is to offer free guidance and practice material to
aspiring candidates.
This Privacy Policy explains how the
App handles information when you use our services. We follow Google Play’s
user‑data and impersonation policies by being transparent about data
collection, limiting data usage to the purposes described and ensuring our app
does not mislead users into thinking it is an official product. By using the
App you agree to the terms in this policy.
Information We Collect
The App is designed to minimise the
collection of personal information. Specifically:
- No account creation
– You are not required to sign up or provide personal details such as your
name, email address or phone number to use the App.
- Usage data and device information – We may collect non‑personal, aggregated information
about how you use the App (for example, quiz scores, number of attempts or
the screen sequence) to improve our services. We may also collect device
information (e.g. device type, operating system version, language setting
and IP address) and use Google AdMob’s advertising identifiers to
show ads. This data helps us optimise performance and serve ads but does
not directly identify you. In accordance with Google Play’s user‑data
policies, we disclose the access, use and sharing of this data and limit
our use to the purposes described.
- Local storage
– The App may store quiz progress, settings and preferences locally on
your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers.
- Network information
– The App requires an internet connection to load images for the non‑verbal
intelligence section and to load advertisements. We request INTERNET
and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions for these purposes only.
How We Use Information
We use the limited data we collect
for the following purposes:
- To provide and improve our services – We analyse anonymised usage data to fix bugs,
optimise features and ensure the App remains helpful to candidates. Quiz
scores, for example, help us understand which topics are most challenging.
- To serve advertisements – The App uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob
may use device identifiers and cookies to deliver personalised and non‑personalised
ads in accordance with Google’s privacy policies. We do not have access to
the personal information AdMob may collect.
- To communicate important information – We may display in‑app messages (such as the
requirement for an internet connection in the non‑verbal test) to ensure
proper functioning of the app and compliance with Google Play’s
prominent‑disclosure requirements.
We do not sell or share your
personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not
collect sensitive data such as your location, contact list, health information,
camera or microphone inputs.
Third‑Party Services
The App relies on the following
third‑party services:
- Google AdMob
– We use AdMob for monetisation. AdMob may collect device identifiers
(such as the Android Advertising ID) and information about your
interaction with ads. For details about how Google collects and uses data,

- External image hosting – The non‑verbal intelligence section loads images
over the internet. These images are hosted remotely and do not collect
user data beyond standard network logs.
We ensure that our integration of
third‑party SDKs complies with Google Play policies and that SDK providers
do not sell personal data.
Permissions Used
To function properly, the App requests
the following Android permissions:
- INTERNET
– to fetch quiz data, load images in the non‑verbal intelligence section
and display ads.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
– to detect whether an internet connection is available and display an
appropriate message when offline.
We do not request access to your
location, contacts, microphone, camera or storage.
Data Security
We implement reasonable technical
and organisational measures to protect the data we process. Communication with
external servers (for ads and images) uses the HTTPS protocol where available.
Since most data is stored locally and not transmitted to our servers, the risk
of unauthorised access is minimised. However, please note that no method of
transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure.
Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for students
preparing to join the General Duty Pilot branch of the
Pakistan Air Force, typically aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly
collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian
and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us so
we can delete it.

The GDP Test Preparation
Guide is a private, educational resource managed by Shaheen Forces
Academy. It is not an official product of the
Pakistan Air Force or any government, non‑government or defence
organisation, nor does it claim to be affiliated with, endorsed or approved
by them. All content (questions, tips and guidance) is based on publicly
available information and past student experiences and is provided for
practice and guidance only. Actual test formats, requirements and schedules
may change without notice.
By using the App you acknowledge
that Shaheen Forces Academy is solely responsible for the content,
and you agree that any reliance on the material is at your own risk. The App
should not be considered a substitute for official recruitment guidelines.
Your Choices
You can control the data used for
personalised advertising by adjusting your device’s privacy settings or through
your Google account’s ad settings. You can also clear the app’s local data via
your device settings to reset quiz progress and preferences. Because we do not
store personal information on our servers, there is no account to delete.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy
from time to time to reflect changes in legal, regulatory or operational
requirements. We will post the updated policy within the App or on our website.
The effective date will be updated at the top of the policy. Continued use of
the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
