ISSB Test Guide App — Shaheen Forces Academy
Effective Date
This Privacy Policy is effective as of May 20, 2026 and applies to the ISSB Test Guide mobile application (hereinafter referred to as "the App"), developed and published by Shaheen Forces Academy, owned and operated by Dr. Sarfraz Ahmad.
Introduction & Ownership
The ISSB Test Guide App is a purely educational and preparatory tool designed to assist candidates aspiring to join the Pakistan Armed Forces (Pakistan Army, Navy, and Air Force) through the Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB). The App is the sole intellectual property of Shaheen Forces Academy and has been prepared under the direct supervision and guidance of Dr. Sarfraz Ahmad, who possesses extensive teaching and field experience within the Pakistan Armed Forces.
Important Declaration: This App is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government department, military institution, or official organisation. It is an independent educational product created solely by Shaheen Forces Academy for the benefit of ISSB aspirants.
All content within the App, including but not limited to text, scenarios, guidance material, psychological test explanations, GTO test descriptions, interview preparation tips, and scheduling information, has been meticulously prepared by Dr. Sarfraz Ahmad based on his personal experience, the collective experiences of previously recommended ISSB candidates, and expert guidance from professionals who have extensive hands-on experience with the ISSB selection process.
Information We Do NOT Collect
We respect your privacy completely. The ISSB Test Guide App is designed with a zero-data-collection philosophy. Specifically:
- We do not require any user login, registration, or account creation.
- We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as name, email address, phone number, CNIC, date of birth, or location.
- We do not access your device contacts, camera, microphone, gallery, or file storage.
- We do not track your browsing history within the App or across other applications.
- We do not collect any biometric data, health information, or financial details.
- We do not use cookies or any similar tracking technologies to monitor user behaviour.
- We do not store any user-generated content, notes, or personal data on our servers.
The App functions entirely as a read-only content delivery platform. All information flows in one direction — from the App to the user. No data ever flows from the user back to us or to any third party.
Advertising & Google AdMob
The App displays advertisements served through Google AdMob, a mobile advertising platform provided by Google LLC. AdMob may collect and use certain non-personal device information to serve personalised or non-personalised ads, in accordance with Google's own Privacy Policy and the Google Play Services terms.
Information that AdMob may collect includes:
- Device type and model
- Operating system version
- Advertising ID (for non-personalised ads, this is not linked to your identity)
- General geographic location (country/region level, not precise GPS)
- App interaction data (ad impressions, clicks)

User Control: You may opt out of personalised advertising through your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
Permissions Required
The ISSB Test Guide App requires minimal permissions to function. The only permissions requested are:
- INTERNET: Required solely to load and display Google AdMob advertisements. No internet connectivity is required to access the core educational content, which is stored locally within the App.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to detect network availability so that ads can be loaded efficiently when a connection is present.
We do NOT request or require permissions for: Camera, Microphone, Contacts, Location (GPS), Phone, SMS, Storage/Files, Calendar, or any other sensitive device features.
Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
The ISSB Test Guide App is intended for users aged 16 years and above, as the ISSB selection process itself requires candidates to meet minimum age requirements. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App and any data has been inadvertently collected, please contact us immediately and we will take prompt action to remove such information.
Data Security
Since the App does not collect, store, or transmit any user data, there is no user data at risk of breach, loss, or unauthorised access. The App's content is bundled within the application package and does not rely on external servers for its core functionality. All educational material is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted over the internet.
Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob — For displaying banner and interstitial advertisements. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Play Services — For App distribution and updates through the Google Play Store. Governed by Google's Terms of Service.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. We encourage users to review their respective privacy policies.
